Acupuncture treatments are cumulative, so we recommend coming once per week for 8-10 weeks for you to improve as much as possible. All treatments occur in a private room with heated tables, soft music, and a relaxing environment.
Gift certificates for any acupuncturist are available for purchase at the clinic.
Kat accepts insurance. The insurances she participates in are as follows: Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield, The Empire Plan (NYSHIP) for State Workers, Aetna, Cigna, MVP, United Healthcare, CDPHP, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of Northeastern NY. However, if you have one of these providers, this does not guarantee that your plan will cover acupuncture.
If you’d like to check your benefits ahead of your appointment time, send an email to email@example.com or fax us at 518-615-1251 with a picture of your insurance card and your date of birth. If you don’t check your benefits before your appointment, please make sure to bring your insurance card to your first appointment. You will have to pay $95 for the first treatment but we will refund that if your insurance covers acupuncture (minus the difference of a copay if you have one).
If you are not covered by insurance, Kat’s out of pocket rate is $95.00. Treatments last between 60-90 minutes.
Alyx accepts VA patients, but does not currently accept insurance. We anticipate that she will be on par with insurance in the first half of 2019.
Hong does not accept insurance. Her treatments cost $45.00, and last between 60-90 minutes.
Amanda’s treatments cost $80 out of pocket, and last 60 minutes.
Michelle’s treatments cost $75 out of pocket, and last 60 minutes.
